July 2024 Piece. The fierce qualities of the Jaguar can be seen through their striking eyes and bold spotted fur coat. Fun fact: the name Jaguar comes from the indigenous name "yaguar", which means "he who kills with one leap". As a landscape painter I am finding it really intriguing that I am venturing into painting wildlife and portraits more and more as I work my way through 2024 and I am excited for what's to come.
