This Oil on Canvas piece is not my usual choice of subject. I have always wanted to paint something different and I chose this wolf as it represents trials and tribulations over the past few years, lessons learnt in which I came back stronger from and for that I am very thankful. Every stroke, every fiber of fur showcases layers and depth and has such a strong meaning. This Wolf to me, is my empowerment. I hope that anyone that has seen dark times has also found the light and I hope you too can feel the emotion as you gaze into it's eyes, fierce and strong; determined and reassured that nothing can stop you now.
