Sometimes we have a special calling to create certain pieces of Art. This piece for me was a change in the direction of my Art and my life, again not my normal choice of subject or expertise; being a landscape Artist. I truely believe a certain presence assisted me while i was creating this one, I felt it and it was such an emotional yet empowering experience and I loved every minute of it. Through this piece I found light, and I hope as you gaze into his eyes that you too can feel the emotion, the pain, the sorrow, the miracles, the possibilities. No matter your religion or your beliefs, which I entirely respect; be open to appreciate this piece of Art for exactly what it is - something other worldly and special, painted onto Canvas through lots of heart, spirit and soul.
